Release Notes
2026
05/26/2026
- Capacity: Enhanced the color sliders in the Options menu to display warning colors when teams are overallocated (forecast allocation exceeds 100%).
- Kanban: Switching from Selected Work-items to a specific backlog level now only displays work items associated with that backlog level’s process template. This resolves issues caused by projects using different process templates with identically named work item types.
- Kanban: Updated state loading to dynamically load state definitions for all process template work item types at startup. This fixes an issue where pages could fail to load when cross-project child items referenced process templates that had not yet been loaded.
- Roadmap: Reduced the frequency of “out of date” notification pop-ups.
- Roadmap: Card color changes now refresh immediately so updates are visible without delay.
- Roadmap: Fixed milestone lines and icons to align correctly with the center of milestone dates.
- Improved overall stability and reduced application errors.
05/07/2026
- Roadmap, Kanban, and Backlog Epic/Feature Timeline views now support customizable card and tag colors for improved readability.
- Roadmap: Fixed an issue where collapsed teams displayed iterations incorrectly in Build-by-Team view.
- Roadmap: Fixed an issue where some cross-project child work-item-types did not appear correctly when projects had different process templates, and the child project’s process template had not yet loaded.
- Timeline: Fixed rendering issues when changing date ranges or zoom levels.
04/13/2026
- Integrated Help: Added a new common menu control, the “?” icon. Clicking on it opens context-aware Portfolio++ documentation based on the user’s current page when using the extension. This feature includes options to “Report Bugs”, capturing diagnostic data, and “Contact Support”, which links to our support page.
- Time zone fixes: Fixed time zone related date/time inconsistencies given select area UTC offsets.
03/30/2026
- Filters: Added new 'Assigned To' filter.
- Backlog Epic/Feature Timeline: Added epic collapsing and title wrapping for improved readability.

- Capacity Options: Added support for South African Rand (R) currency.
- Capacity Requirements-Level Team Capacity Pop-Up: Fixed a permissions issue that prevented Azure DevOps Admin users from editing the values in the pop-up.
